This page explains how The Walking Stick Store uses cookies on this website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website saves on your phone, tablet or computer. They help the site work, remember your choices and show us how it is being used.
The cookies we use
Cookies that are needed for the site to work
These keep your basket, let you check out and help keep the site secure. Without them the shop cannot work properly, so they are always on. Examples include cookies named cart, cart_sig and secure_customer_sig.
Cookies that help us understand how the site is used
Our online shop is provided by Shopify, which uses cookies such as _shopify_y and _shopify_s to count visits and see which pages are popular. We use this to improve the website. We only use these where you have agreed to them, if you are asked.
Marketing cookies
We do not use cookies to follow you around the internet. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask for your permission first.
Your choices
When you first visit the site you may see a message asking which cookies you accept. You can change your mind at any time by clearing the cookies in your browser. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies from their settings. If you block the cookies the site needs, parts of it, such as the basket and checkout, may stop working.
